Check out this new fancy bed I got for Christmas! Mom has already bought a really soft blanky for it too!
Hey everyone!! I'm new to this community and I'm hoping to sell some of my babies clothes. I bought them all because I just couldn't resist how cute they are, but I have never used them!! They need a new home that will put them to good use.
hi everybody, kylie is getting to be such a big girl, she's grown out of a lot of her things, and i'd really like them to go to good homes! these outfits and so much more are all at my online shop. thanks for looking! :)
Wow, fashion and four-legged friends! This looks awesome, so psyched to find it.Sadly I don't have a cute little dog of my own, damn apartments with their rules. . .Please do "friend" me everyone.Cheers
I saw this website and I think it's a great idea. The collars are such a cute idea and remind me of the livestrong bracelets. :)
Anyone know where online I can buy a plaid (think Burberry style) dog collar for a cheap price? I usually use a soft harness because when he was younger he chewed up a collar. :\But now he's out of that stage and I'd like to keep a collar on him full time (walk him w/ the harness tho, since it's safer and more comphy!) to keep his tags on, etc.He has a plaid bed that looks like the Burberry print (it's not.) and I think a plaid collar would be adoreable on him!:)Thanks,Jessica and Kodiak
So, I realized that I know a lot of places to get super cute dog clothes for decent prices (I'm a college student after all). The size I look for fits my little girl with a bit of room but can be easily sewn or pinned smaller so I would estimate these clothes will fit dogs (depending on body type) that weight 3-7 lbs. maybe more if they are thin.http://www.adollysworld.com/ http://www.buildabear.com/http://www.michaels.com/I have ordered from all of these stores with very good results. Shirts that fit standard bears and 18" dolls also fit small dogs really well, so you can google more stores, these are just the ones I have experience with. If your dog wears dresses, American Girl has some of the most adorable ones ever, and they fit really well. Build-A-Bear has a great collection of t-shirts, costumes and jerseys. They are a bit more expensive but worth it. A Dolly's World is good for the basics, solid colored sweaters and t-shirts to pair with other accessories. Michael's is great for holiday sweaters and costumes.Cricket doesn't mind, and I love, barrettes and hats. Michael's and A Dolly's World have hats sometimes (it can be hard to find cute ones) and tiny barrettes and bows can usually be found at drug stores or Target. Shopping for my dog is so much fun. I would love to see this community become more active! Post pictures!
Hello, this is Cricket. She is 6 years old, 5 lbs, and smart but spoiled. She doesn't wear clothes every day, but fairly frequently. She loves her sweaters when it's chilly outside, and doesn't really mind other things other times. She's not really a girly-dog and doesn't wear bows or dresses or pink. She loves walks and barking at squirrels.( a pretty blue sweater for a nice spring dayCollapse )
Hey there dog lovers! My name is Marie Elena and I'm doing a story for my journalism class about the trend of having small dogs and dressing them up. I figure this is the place to go for info about that sort of thing since you all love your little pups :o) I just have a few questions about having a small dog and what prompted you to get one and I'd love to hear from any of you. The draft of my story is due Thursday so if anyone wants to brag about their dog, you can leave me a message or email me at email@example.com. I'll be eternallly grateful :o)

First off I own 4 dogs: but I'll do the most spoiled one for now... About You: I am 22 a bad typer and work for my parents by managing there Kennel, I also work for the local vet's from time to time when he needs some ex-tra help. Your name: Emily but I always call myself Asahi Age: 22 almost 23 About Your Baby: Asahi is my original baby, I paid a bunch of money for this Japanese. Chin and she is well worth it. She is the queen Diva of the house and knows it. Puppy's name: just a sighing over Asahi (A-sigh-YA) Male/female: Female, 2yrsWhat breed is he/she? Japanese Chin Do they do any tricks? She can make a big dog sized jumbone disappear in an hour... What makes them SPOILED? She loves Jumbones, and has a store named after her, LOL. I'm always buying her clothes and she is the only one allowed to sleep with me. I bought her to be a show dog originally but 1 week before her first show she dislocated her knee so she limps really badly. I'm planning to show one of her puppies whenever she has some. How did you come to own him/her? long story, I had Bought a miniature doxie and found out that he had red mange, that was in my stupid years I know better know about how and where to buy a dog, and of course his breeders magically disappeared off of the face of the earth. Well after a couple thousand dollars I got my Lenny cured and let him play outside for a few min. while getting dressed for work. My parents came up to visit me and ran over him... I was so sad I squalled for weeks and still owed the vet 500 dollars plus 50 for canceling his spray which was going to be the next day. (needless to say I don't go to that vet anymore) About a month later my mom got a yorkie for Val. and my dad offered to buy me one to replace Lenny. I said I wasn't ready for another dog but my mom took me up to the breeders to look at them anyway. Well This gremlin looking dog was strolling around the house and my mom was like "What is that?" and before the breeder could answer I said "It's a chin!" I saw the puppies and there was this one female in the back who was just as aloof as can be. and that my friends was Asahi! Of course she cost a lot more than the yorkie so I paid about 600 for her and my dad paid the rest. and A few weeks later I took her home and she went everywhere with me till I quit than job and decided to work for my parents. What is your most memorable experience with him/her? She loves Jumbones and leave them strewed every where, Well one weekend my Grandparents were visiting and while helping clean up they threw away her "Bathroom" bone. So she was destroying the Bathroom looking for her bone. When I was done we went out and she walked into the living room and sat down staring at my Grandparents. When they asked what was wrong I told them that her bone was missing and she would not stop glaring at them until they apologized and gave her another bone. LOL if that is'nt spoiled... Now for the fun part! Pictures!!<( Read more...Collapse )
i know this isn't exactly couture-related, but it is important because nobody wants their dog to be sick! My news station just reported this story.>>>Pet owners all over the country are now suing the makers of "greenies", a dental treat for dogs. They claim the biscuit killed their dogs. A California veterinarian says greenies can become lodged in dogs throats or intestines, and the treats are being blamed for the deaths of at least 13 dogs nationwide. and, to end this post on a cute note, here is my yorkie sleeping on my desk at work:
